Our Mission
Relocating to a new state is one of the biggest decisions a person can make. RelocateMeTX exists to make that decision easier for the thousands of professionals, families, and retirees who move to Texas every year. We provide comprehensive, objective city guides covering neighborhoods, cost of living, schools, employers, housing, and day-to-day essentials — so you can relocate with confidence.
Our guides currently cover Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, and Austin, with San Antonio launching soon. Each city guide is structured as a hub-and-spoke resource: a central city overview with deep-dive pages on neighborhoods, suburbs, comparisons, employer profiles, calculators, vendors, and a full city guide covering food, culture, sports, outdoors, and more.
Editorial Process
All content on RelocateMeTX is researched and written by the RelocateMeTX Editorial Team. Our process:
- 1 Research — We compile data from federal, state, and local government sources (see below), then cross-reference with real-world observations and resident interviews.
- 2 Write & verify — Every statistic, address, and recommendation is fact-checked against its original source before publication.
- 3 Update regularly — Guides are reviewed and updated on an ongoing basis. Each page displays its last-updated date.
Our Team
RelocateMeTX is maintained by a distributed editorial team with deep roots in Texas. Our contributors include licensed Texas real estate professionals who review housing, property tax, and neighborhood content; healthcare housing specialists who verify medical lodging information; and relocation researchers who track regulatory changes, utility rates, and cost-of-living data across the state.
